Experienced Lawyer and Accountant

Fernanda is a qualified Brazilian Lawyer (OAB/SP 249.719 ) and UK Chartered Accountant (ICAEW 1854835).

 

Fernanda's academic background includes a master’s degree from the University of Essex, UK, with an LLM in International Trade Law. Fernanda is also a practicing accountant in the UK, having started her accountancy  training with Deloitte UK.

Fernanda is active in multiple professional development programmes, with recent activity including:

Fernanda acts as Head of Legal and Consular Affairs for the Citizenship Counsel of the United Kingdom (CCRU). The Council aims to reinforce the dialogue between the Brazilian community and the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Consulate General‎ of Brazil in London.

 

Fernanda is also an active member of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain, participating in the Tax Committee and member events.

 

In recognition of the language barriers that exist between English and Portuguese speakers, Fernanda supports expatriates with free English language tuition via the SOLTE A LÍNGUA project.

 

Operating in both Brazil and the UK, Fernanda specialises in providing a multi-disciplinary service to clients who require professional guidance in all areas of tax and legal regulation across the Brazil.
